The passing of a loved one can be an incredibly difficult time, and the process of cleaning out their home often adds another layer of emotional complexity. Undoubtedly something must change; no resident should live under such conditions that jeopardize their health and well-being or compromise their sense of safety within their own home. Despite having once viewed this apartment complex as “a good place” offering great value for rent prices—something easy for many people seeking affordable housing—it became clear that beneath its surface lay serious flaws needing urgent attention before more innocent tenants fell victim to neglectful management practices like those affecting my late mother’s living experience.
