The staff at Timberlane Lodge were nice. The atmosphere at Spruce Creek ALF is wonderful. The care provided at Spruce Creek ALF is excellent. The owner of the home for seniors is highly involved and caring.
The staff were nice but beware the great acting by owners as they court you to have your loved one there. Sandeep explained that he’d told the nurse caring for her to keep the railing on her bed down so she would not have a sense of being trapped, but she ended up falling and breaking her hip. Sandeep said our presence was upsetting for the other residents and limited visitation time. The food at Timberlane Lodge was described as little piles of non-nutritive crap. Sandeep showed lack of compassion when moving the patient with a broken hip and dismissed her pain. Despite promises during the interview, they did not cater to picky eaters or provide requested meals.In recent reviews, Timberlane Lodge has come under scrutiny for negligence, unkindness, and subpar food.
