• When my mother fell ill and had to move from independent living to healthcare, the level of care drastically declined. There was little to no help.
• The employee also said that they put covid patients in the healthcare area to keep them isolated from everyone but the residents like my mother had to suffer for it by being locked in their rooms for up to three weeks.
• My mothers mental health declined at GoodSams and she even said she was ready to go home to Jesus because she couldn’t handle the neglect any longer.
• I finally was able to move my mother. They treat her like their mother. They have three times the staff that GoodSams have. This is treating people with respect.
• My father was in Good Samaritan Society. They did not care about the people there nearly as much as they do where he is now.
• It did not seem like a place that my dad would enjoy so much because they had a lot of activities. It was a very busy place.
• The facilities in the nursing home reminded me of a hospital, I didn't like visiting.
• Nursing homes in general are horrible. I don't mean that they mistreat people, just the idea of going to a place to die.
• It looked a little too much like a hospital for my taste.
